Now that it’s clear what the ISO 14001 certification means, we’ll give you an example by telling you what we do and how we do it.
Our objectives
Trying to make repairs more durable, simplify the repair process through improved technology, and make the products more and more environmentally friendly.
Our projects & implementations
We have a couple of ongoing projects to make ourselves a more sustainable company. For example, the
tree planting project with GoForest. Here we actively contribute to making our world a greener place by planting mangroves in Madagascar and reforesting damaged woods in Belgium.
Our new
Green Paint System is made up of recycled and recyclable materials. In combination with waste management reducing the number of plastic used, it makes it more sustainable than the average competitor on the market.
Another thing we do is replace carnauba wax with beeswax. It’s another project with a big impact on the environment. Carnauba wax is made from a palm species that only grows in exotic places. Thus they cut down rainforests to plant these trees. Our Sales Director, Dirk van Driessche, came up with a solution. He found a way to use beeswax instead, so there’s no need to use carnauba wax and we’re helping the bees by integrating them into the production process.
